Pet Requirements

must have a microchip

You should get a microchip certificate with your puppy with the microchip number sticker should be on the vet card

Must be at least 6 weeks old
Must be Kusa registered

Buying a  staffie puppy with a registered Kennel Union of South Africa (KUSA) certificate gives the puppy buyer protection on what exact blood line you investing in. Reputable staffie breeders will be a member of the Kennel Union of South Africa (KUSA) with a membership number. Contact KUSA to confirm the membership authentication of the said staffordshire bull terrier breeder.

First vaccination given at 6–8 weeks

This is a 5-in-1 and includes Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis and Parainfluenza. The first Rabies vaccination your puppy will require a booster in one month’s time again.

Veterinarian Vaccination Card

Microchip number sticker should also be on the vet card, the vetenarian card should also include information of your staffy puppy gender, date of birth & colour.  The vaccinations should be listed on the vetenarian vaccination card and signed by an accredited vetenarian as this provides the staffie puppy buyer a clean bill of health. 

Puppy should be housetrained

A reputable staffie breeder should already have started being in process of having your stafford puppy housetrained and your stafford puppy should already be used to being in a routine where your staffie puppy starts weeing on grass. 

Be clean and healthy

Puppy sterilisation contract

Your staffordshire bull terrier puppy should have a sterilisation contract statring that the staffie puppy buyer will have to have the stafford puppy sterilized at 6 months of age again.
